In accordance with Article 25 AA of the NYS Agriculture and Markets Law, the Cattaraugus County Legislature held their annual thirty-day period in which landowners may submit a request for inclusion of land into Cattaraugus County Agricultural District 5, which encompasses every municipality in Cattaraugus County. Cattaraugus County is proposing to add 24 parcels totaling 1,398.36 acres to Agricultural District 5, as recommended by the Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board.
