LITTLE VALLEY – Salamanca voters in Wards 1 and 2 will have to head to another polling place for the Primary Election on June 23.
Election Commissioners Kevin Burleson and Cortney Spittler announced the poll site for City of Salamanca Ward 1 and Ward 2 voters has been temporarily relocated for the June 23, 2026 Primary only.
To vote in person for the upcoming Tuesday, June 23, 2026 Primary Election, voters in these two wards should appear at the Riverside Chapel located at 134, Broad St., Salamanca, NY 14779. (This is also the existing poll site for voters in Ward 4.) To enter the poll site, voters may park at the rear entrance on Front Avenue.
“Please remember this change is only in effect for the June Primary Election. We anticipate that voting will return to the usual site for the November General Election,” said the commissioners.
Cattaraugus County residents have multiple voting options available for the June Primary.
For those who plan to vote in person on Election Day, June 23, polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.
To vote by mail, voters may contact the Board of Elections to request an application, or, the New York State online absentee portal using the following web address: https://absenteeballot.elections.ny.gov
To vote in person during early voting, June 13- 21, voters can visit one of two early voting sites. For information on specific times and locations, visit https://www.cattco.gov/election/2026/primary-election or call the office at (716) 938-2400.
