Please be aware that there is a new phishing scam going around. Clients are being sent a text telling them that their EBT card is locked. They are provided with a link to click and then enter their personal information to unlock their cards. These screen shots are actually from Conduent but we need to be aware in case they are targeting ebtEDGE clients as well. Once client’s click this link and enter their information, they have provided their EBT info to a scammer.
ebtEDGE will never send clients a text or a link telling them that their card is locked. Clients should always log in directly to their ebtEDGE account through the app or online and never click any links they are sent.
