Veggie Wheels brings fresh, locally grown produce to neighborhoods across Cattaraugus County - reducing nutrition and food access gaps to support healthier communities.

Veggie Wheels® (VW) Veggie Wheels is a mobile food access initiative that travels throughout Cattaraugus County to deliver fresh, locally grown produce directly to communities with limited access to healthy foods. Veggie Wheels helps bridge the gap for individuals and families who struggle to access affordable, nutritious food. Whether it’s due to cost, distance, disability, or limited transportation, many residents in our region face significant barriers to eating well. We’re here to change that.

Our mobile market isn’t just about access—it’s about empowerment. At each stop, the Veggie Wheels team shares simple, practical tips for cooking on a budget, offers healthy recipe cards, and hosts live food demonstrations that show just how easy and enjoyable healthy eating can be. We also engage kids and families through games, tastings, and hands-on activities that make nutrition fun and approachable for all ages. Veggie Wheels is committed to supporting local agriculture, strengthening community health, and making nutritious food a reality—not a luxury—for everyone in our county.
