The following operational conditions must be reviewed and accepted by the campground owner.

Operational Conditions for Permit Issuance during the COVID-19 Pandemic

  1. All camping units used for this purpose MUST be self-contained and not needing the use of campground restrooms and/or shower facilities. Only when NYS lifts the restrictions on non-essential services can you be issued a revised permit.
  2. All campers shall be provided with a copy of the “Special Camping Rules During the COVID-19 Pandemic” permit conditions sheet. The camper must sign a statement indicating they have received, understand and will abide by these rules. The signature verification must be retained by the camp owner.
  3. All campers should remain at their campsite except for essential needs including medicine, food, medical care or exercise, no outside visitors/guests are allowed into the campground. Campsites are limited to one-family unit already isolating as a unit.
  4. All food service operations may operate on a take-out or delivery basis only.
  5. All areas of congregation and/or places of public amusement, whether indoors or outdoors, including but not limited to, water parks, pools, beaches, video game centers, children’s play centers, community halls, pavilions, bathhouses and other areas of family and children’s attraction are currently considered non-essential and must be closed. No equipment can be made available for use or rental.
  6. All onsite campground customers and employees maintain proper social distancing and/or wear masks covering their mouth and nose while in public in accordance with current NYS guidelines.
  7. Only the staff members needed to ensure the continued safe operation of the campground are to be considered essential; all other staff members are currently considered non-essential and MUST comply with the Governors Executive Order addressing workforce reduction.
  8. Laundry facilities are limited to one individual at a time, unless room is spacious enough to allow social distancing. Machine surfaces must be sanitized between users.
  9. The camp office and camp store shall limit the number of persons allowed in at one time to ensure social distancing. All commonly touched surfaces must be sanitized regularly throughout each day. Exchange and handling of money must be discouraged. All payments should be handled electronically, online, or via credit card wherever possible.
