This presentation provides an overview of the job search and career development resources and services offered through the One Stop. In addition, it will provide you with an introduction to the Resource Area.

Career Planning Workshop

This workshop provides information on a variety of tools in order to research career opportunities and the steps necessary for achieving specific goals. Formulating training plans & financial aid resources will also be discussed.

Starting the Job Search/Effective Interviewing

This workshop is geared toward setting work preferences, identifying transferable skills, compiling your work history, and managing stress - as well as effective interview technique.

Job Club

This workshop will offer an array of techniques, ideas and suggestions for employment opportunities. Some topics covered will be: understanding the interview process, current job opportunities, using the internet, communication skills in the workplace and transferrable skills. Network with other job seekers. 

Resume Workshop

This workshop will assist in building or editing your resume. 

TABE Testing

A basic skills assessment to establish current reading & math levels is offered. 

HSED Classes

HSED (High School Equivalency) Classes offered throughout the school year (schedule may vary during the summer months). Please call for more information.

Computers for Beginners

Introduction to basic computer skills.
