The next Planning Board Meeting will be held on December 18, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Cattaraugus County Center Building in Little Valley, NY
The planning division serves as staff to the 13-member County Planning Board, which must act upon referrals from local municipalities sent to the county under Section 239 I of New York State General Municipal Law. The staff makes recommendations to the County Planning Board regarding these referrals.
The County Board of Canvassers of the County of Cattaraugus having met at the Cattaraugus County Board of Elections on November 21, 2025, to canvass the votes given in the several Election Districts of said County, at the 2025 General Election held on the 04 day of November in the year aforesaid do certify as follows ... Cattaraugus County residents and stakeholders are invited to participate in the development of a Housing Needs Assessment and Action Plan by taking an online housing survey starting on December 1st. The housing needs assessment and action plan is community-informed and the survey will build upon four community meetings held in September and October across Cattaraugus County.
The Cattaraugus County Legislature will meet in adjourned session at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, for such business as may properly come before the meeting, in the Legislative Chambers, 303 Court Street, Little Valley, New York.

There will be a free rabies clinic on Jan 10, 2026 from 9:00 to 11:00PM at the Cattaraugus County Dept. of Public Works Garage.
Most County offices and facilities will be closed the day after Thanksgiving.
