Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the deaths of seven residents of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications.
The fifty-fourth recorded death was a 93 year old female who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome her illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
The fifty-fifth recorded death was a 65 year old male who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome his illness despite aggressive medical treatment.

Olean NY January 5, 2021 - Cattaraugus County has opened a COVID-19 vaccination clinic to facilitate distribution of Moderna vaccine to those categorized in New York State’s 1-A priority group, utilizing existing supplies of vaccine from Olean General Hospital (OGH) and Universal Primary Care (UPC).
