Cattaraugus County hereby extends the Cattaraugus County State of Emergency which was declared on March 15, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., and thereby extended on April 14, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., and further extended on May 14, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., and further extended on June 13, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., and further extended on July 13, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., and further extended on August 12, 2020 at 12:00 a.m., in response to Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19), which the World Health Organization designated as a world-wide pandemic.

The reporting laboratory was Erie County Medical Center Clinical Laboratories, Buffalo, NY. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now twenty six as there are one-hundred and sixty seven residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
