***DMV response to Covid 19 -- UPDATED AND CLARIFIED 11 AM Tuesday, March 31st***

All New York State Motor Vehicle offices are closed to the public until further notice. Renewal deadlines for licenses, registrations and inspections have been extended.

The NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles office in Little Valley is now conducting transactions a few days per week via mail and drop-offs.

Reminder: All New York State Motor Vehicle offices are closed to the public until further notice. Governor Cuomo has said that renewals for licenses, registrations and inspections will be extended.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Cattaraugus County Board of Elections will be open on a limited schedule: 11 AM to 1 PM Mondays and Fridays.

Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of three additional confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The reporting laboratory was Wadsworth Laboratory in Albany, NY.

Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of its second confirmed case of COVID-19. The reporting laboratory was Wadsworth Laboratory in Albany, NY.

As of Friday, March 27, 2020, Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of its first confirmed case of COVID-19. The reporting laboratory was Quest out of Pittsburgh.

Internet Service Providers are offering free/low-cost service to households that do not have high speed internet and are within their service areas.

Watching the endless updates can be addictive. It can also be unhealthy. Social isolation and increased anxiety are a toxic mix.
