There are some new items on display at the Cattaraugus County Museum and Research Library!

The museum has in its collections several uniforms - many of which have been displayed in previous exhibits, particularly those from the Civil War and both World Wars. Many uniforms, however, rarely fit into a broader exhibit and, despite being unique and interesting, seldom are displayed.

The current exhibit features just a few of these previously unseen uniforms.

Also on display are a pair of rifles made in the late 19th century by Gowanda gunsmith M.F. Crandell.
