Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the thirty first death of a resident of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications. He was a 75 year old male who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome his illness despite aggressive medical treatment.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and the entire Cattaraugus County community.

Cattaraugus County has moved the drive-thru COVID testing site that was formally located at the Allegany Firemen’s Grounds. The new site, beginning December 3, 2020, is located at 3799 [South] Nine Mile Rd in Allegany, NY. (Directions listed below.) This site is at the Intandem building (formerly the Rehab Center) just west Randy’s Up The River.

Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the death of two residents of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications.
The twenty eighth recorded death was a 55 year old female who developed cardiac failure and was unable to overcome her illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
The twenty ninth recorded death was a 78 year old male who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome his illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
