I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020 and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby issue the following directive(s):
The Department of Motor Vehicles Offices in Little Valley and Delevan are hereby closed to the public and to employees of Cattaraugus County, except for necessary maintenance and repair.

The Cattaraugus Department of Social Services wants to assure clientele that they are diligently working to maintain services to the public within state guidelines that have been designed to keep people healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please see below for important program updates.
In light of the current situation surrounding Coronavirus-19 (COVID-19), the 9th Annual Cattaraugus County Farmer-Neighbor Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the West Valley Fire Hall will be postponed.
During this constantly changing situation with COVID-19, in an attempt to prevent spreading of the virus, some towns might modify their business hours for the public, or suspend them altogether. Therefore, before driving to your local collector to pay your current-year taxes, or for any other town clerk business, it would be best to call your local town tax collector’s office to verify they can process your tax payment in person. Mailing your payment might be the preferred option at this time.
